About this juice

This organic aronia juice is pressed from aronia berries, also known as black chokeberries, and bottled in glass. Its deep purple colour and bold, dry, slightly tart taste suit drinks and cooking alike.

Aronia berries (Aronia melanocarpa) are small, dark purple berries native to North America. They taste very tart and dry when raw, so they are usually pressed or dried rather than eaten as they are.

How to enjoy it

Undiluted, the taste is intense, and many people prefer it mixed.

  • On its own or with a splash of water, for those who like it strong
  • As a spritzer with sparkling water and a squeeze of lemon
  • Blended into a smoothie with banana, mango or spinach
  • Stirred into warm water with a little honey
  • Simmered down into a syrup for yogurt, porridge or desserts
