What Makes Aronia Juice Special

Aronia berries (Aronia melanocarpa), also known as black chokeberries, are small, dark purple berries native to North America and grown today on organic farms in Europe. Their intense colour comes from anthocyanins, natural plant pigments that also give the juice its deep, almost black-purple colour.

The taste is bold and dry, similar to a strong red wine or unsweetened cranberry juice, with a pleasant astringency. Many customers make a small glass of aronia juice part of their daily routine — pure after a meal, diluted with sparkling water, or blended into a morning smoothie.

How to Use

Store in the refrigerator after opening and use within 10 days. Each 700 ml bottle provides approximately 7 servings of 100 ml.

Pure Juice from the First Pressing

Not all aronia juices are the same. Many commercial products are made from concentrate — the juice is extracted, the water is evaporated for cheap transport, and then water is added back before bottling. This process degrades heat-sensitive polyphenols and alters the flavour profile significantly.
