Where do the Aronia berries come from?

The primary growing areas are in Eastern Europe, with significant cultivation in Germany where over 500 hectares are planted. About half of this area is cultivated exclusively for Aronia ORIGINAL products. The berries for our juices come from organic and Demeter certified farmers in Germany and are processed in regional juice pressing plants.

Are all Aronia ORIGINAL products organic?

Yes. All currently available Aronia ORIGINAL products are certified organic or are products from the conversion to organic farming. The organic status appears as an official inspection number and EU organic logo on packaging.

Why are other juices with Aronia cheaper?

Price reflects quality differences including juice type (direct vs. concentrate), Aronia percentage in blends, pressing quality, organic certification, berry sourcing, and production location. Aronia ORIGINAL guarantees 100% direct juices in motherjuice quality from organic Aronia berries, purchased directly from organic growers.

Do you add sugar to your Aronia products?

Most core products contain no added sugar. If sweetening seems necessary, alternative sweeteners such as rice syrup, agave syrup, or grape juice concentrate are used. The core product assortment is completely without added sugar or sweeteners.

How much Aronia should I take daily?

Recommended daily intake is 100 ml of organic Aronia juice, 1-2 tablespoons of dried organic Aronia berries, or 2 tablespoons of organic Aronia powder. Individual tolerance may vary.

When should I take the Aronia juice?

Many customers find a daily sip after a meal, preferably after breakfast or lunch, most effective. Otherwise, enjoy it whenever you like throughout the day.

Can I mix Aronia juice with other drinks?
